  2. I am being taken over by birds at the moment. It seems my mystery bird is a Brambling, but I am still not 100% sure. I thought it could be a thrush, but after seeing your wonderful photos, I decided no. My mystery bird does not have such marked spots on the breast. It is really a thankful subject to photograph. I have the fattest happiest birds in my garden, but I could watch them all day.Obviously you are using a close-up lens, but how close can you get? My birds fly away if I am not careful.
