Bounty, Autumn's Harvesters
I noticed in the garden the insects are busy taking advantage of the bounty in the garden from the Late Autumn Flowers and collecting pollen and nectar to see them through the winter. Such industrious little creatures
Here we go again.. I love your photos of this wonderful little bee Baz. The bees have been busy here too and I have had fun capturing them lately in this our Spring.
Someone posted a question the other day on our local radio station about bees. They had noticed that the bees was in the seed bottle on the bird feeder and asked why. I remember when we were on the bird walk, that Linda the ownder of the nursery asked our bird expert why her bird feeder was full of bees, cannot remember why, but remember he said it was worrisome that not enough nectar for the bees around as the seeds, in this case, a chicken poultry, wild bird mix she puts out, would do something for the honey production, but now has totally forgot what he said. Do you know anything about such phenomena as I have also seen , some weeks ago, before the rains, loads of bees by my feeder too.
I did comment yesterday, it said it will take a time and still hasn't posted. This bill Gates world can be a bit creepy sometimes. Anhow the bees told me to buzz arouns a bit more, so am having another go. Just said what perfect detailed pictures, you could take a comb and comb the bees, their "hair" is so detailed.
